Jeanne's Trip to Pennsylvania

Jeanne was able to go to Pennsylvania in the second week of this month for her mother's 80th birthday/Mother's Day. A bunch of the family got together for it and had a lovely dinner at a restaurant on the 10th.

Yosemite May 2008 Trip

Here are the long-awaited pictures of Yosemite! We were there the first week of May. We enjoyed a 10 mile bike ride around the park, an 8.5 mile hike around the rim of the park, and also hanging out with friends and family in our campsite. The picture on the bottom left is of Vernal Falls with a beautiful rainbow we saw during the hike. The top left picture is us taking our lunch break on the bike ride. Above are some pictures of our group.

Joshua's Baseball Season

Joshua's main season has ended, but he was just unanimously chosen by the coaches to be on a traveling tournament team. So in the next few weeks, we will be able to see some more of
So. Cal.! Congratulations Josh!

May Update on the Puppies!

They are getting so BIG!! We have officially sold 2 of the 7, and last night the breeder arrived to pick up his 2 also. (He was the man we got Shelby from and that was a part of the breeder's agreement.) So we have 3 puppies left to sell. Here are a few pictures of the ones that are left. (The 2 bottom pictures are of the puppies playing outside, and the top is them resting in their cage.)

April Update on the Puppies!

The puppies are now about 25 days old and are starting to stumble around and have 'puppy fights'! They are very cute, but still look like little sausages with legs! Here are some pictures of Joshua and Christina holding their favorite puppies. The picture on the top right is one of the boys yawning really big! We will start advertising in a couple of weeks after they are completely weaned.

Puppies are Born!

This morning at 9 AM Shelby went into labor and by 10-10:15, she had the 1st puppy!! About 4 puppies later around 2 PM, my mom was pretty sure was done... but 2 more came for a grand total of 7!!! There are 4 boys and 3 girls, so the girls in this household are still outnumbered :) The picture on the bottom is of everyone desiring to help with the birthing process, which kind of got out of hand until mom shooed us away! The one in the middle is of the puppies sleeping, and the one on the top is Shelby laying on her back nursing her babies :)

Puppies!!

Well, this has been a while since I last posted anything on here... but I think the most exciting thing in everyone's life here at the Mumper house is that Shelby is pregnant!! She is due in the next week or so... we have the whelping box all ready to go! Here are some pictures of Shelby as a puppy... hopefully her puppies will be as cute as she!

Nan and Pop- our second trip

On January 2nd we headed down to the L.A Zoo! We saw everything from gorillas, zebras, seals, and kimono dragons to crocodiles and snow leopards. This was a special visit because the last time Jared was at the Zoo was when he was 5 months, so he really had a great time seeing and identifying all the different animals. There where several times that we couldn't see the animals because they where hiding, so Pop used his infamous "animal calls" to call them into view! (We just pretended we didn't know him!) No, just kidding!

On the way home we decided to stop by the famous burger place: In-N-Out. Here's a picture of everyone chowing down on their burgers:
